Pastor Jim is a modern day renaissance man. Besides being a gifted teacher, he’s a professional writer and a musician. Pastor Jim didn’t start out ministry as a teacher, but as a musician. You can still find him playing keyboards or the organ and singing each Sunday. Pasto Jim also serves as a Connector for the State Baptist Convention of Indiana as well as on the credential committee for the state convention.
Jim holds two Master’s degrees: Master of Church Music from Southwestern Theological Seminary and Master of Divinity as well as a Doctorate of Ministry degree from New Orleans Theological Seminary.

There is no question that God brough Guerson, aka “G,” into our fellowship just as many Haitians began attending Warren Baptist. G translates from English to Creole for our Haitian community members who struggle with the English language. We provide translations on the worship center screens to help our international members.
We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana, and Crossroads Baptist Association. A percentage of our offerings go to these entities through the Cooperative Program to support international and North American missionaries, as well other ministries.
