Dr. Jim Wright, Senior Pastor

Pastor Jim is a modern day renaissance man. Besides being a gifted teacher, he’s a professional writer and a musician. Pastor Jim didn’t start out ministry as a teacher, but as a musician. You can still find him playing keyboards or the organ and singing each Sunday. Pasto Jim also serves as a Connector for the State Baptist Convention of Indiana as well as on the credential committee for the state convention.

Jim holds two Master’s degrees: Master of Church Music from Southwestern Theological Seminary and Master of Divinity as well as a Doctorate of Ministry degree from New Orleans Theological Seminary.

Rev. Jerome Ivy, Outreach Pastor

Jerome, a native of Mississippi, dedicated his professional life to civil service and is now focusing his servant’s heart on ministry. After ministering in several churches in Chicago and Indianpolis, he joined the Warren team in 2022 as Outreach Pastor.

Jerome is excited to put his extensive experience to use at Warren and expand our ministry opportunities into the community. He is joined in service by his wife of over 30 years, Delorise. Together they have 3 adult children.

Jerome earned his Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Crown College.

Annica Cook, Communications & Office Coordinator

With over 25 years of ministry and writing experience, Annica is excited to help communicate the vision and mission of Warren Church to the community. Her passions include, a well-crafted phrase, the semicolon, and her first love–Kid’s Ministry. Her partner in crime (aka ministry) is her husband, Rob. They share a calling to teach and the love of art, music, and movies.

Guerson Lorissant, Creole Translator

There is no question that God brough Guerson, aka “G,” into our fellowship just as many Haitians began attending Warren Baptist. G translates from English to Creole for our Haitian community members who struggle with the English language. We provide translations on the Worship Center screens to help our international members.

Rev. John Pierre, Creole Life Group Leader

Pastor John is a native of Haiti and came to know the Lord while growing up in an orphanage. He later began a church in the orphanage, which grew into an independent church. John still works with the church he founded in Haiti and he serves at Warren in teaching a Haitian Life Group. Pastor John assists with the needs of the Haitian community at Warren.

We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana, and Crossroads Baptist Association. A percentage of our offerings go to these entities through the Cooperative Program to support international and North American missionaries, as well other ministries.
