The procedures for the worship gathering during Stage Two are as follows:
Updated May 5, 2020
The last few months have been unusual due to the COVID-19 crisis. In a good-faith effort to our community, we discontinued worship services and all activities at the church facility. Since the closure, we have been holding worship services and Bible Study online.
In Indiana, the governor has laid out five stages for the reopening process. According to the Governor’s stages, houses of worship may reopen in Stage Two. In anticipation of Governor Holcomb allowing Indiana to begin resuming operations, the Leadership Team has carefully and cautiously planned our Reopening Procedures for “Stage Two.” Currently, Marion County is slated to enter into “Stage Two” on May 11th; however, this date is subject to change. Therefore, we do not have a solid date to reopen.
Please review the “Reopening Procedures: Stage Two” established by the Leadership Team. They have been designed with your health and safety in mind. We will follow these procedures while Indiana including Marion County is in Stage Two. When Indiana and Marion County enter Stage Three, we will make updates to the procedures and you will be notified of the changes in advanced. Updates to our Reopening Procedures can also be found on our website: www.mywarrenbaptist.com/COVID.
We are taking these steps to ensure the safety of all who will attend. We want you to feel at ease and secure while you worship in our facility. For those in high risk groups, we will continue to broadcast our services live on our Facebook page and YouTube channel at 10 AM on Sundays. Recordings of the broadcast can also be found on our website, www.mywarrenbaptist.com. Wednesday Prayer will continue in Zoom at 5:30 PM and may be accessed by telephone. Bible Study will remain live on Facebook Wednesdays at 6 PM. If you need assistance with any of these technologies, please call so we can help.
